Annual General Meeting

The Whitby Residents Association’s 2016 Annual General Meeting will be held at the North Porirua Baptist Church, Whitby Village Centre (off Discovery Drive), at 7pm, on Thursday March 17,  2016.

The AGM will be followed by the following presentations:-

  • “When disaster hits Whitby: What could happen and how to prepare”-

From Trevor Farmer, Area Co-ordinator, Wellington Regional Emergency Management Office (WREMO) on the civil defence plan for Whitby.

  • “Upgrade of Whitby New World Supermarket” from Andrew Mayne, Foodstuffs Property Manager , and Mark Roche, Owner/Operator of New World Whitby.

AGM Business will include the Chairman’s annual report, election of WRA Executive Committee, election of Chairman, presentation of 2015 Financial Statements for approval,  and consideration of such other matters as may be properly transacted at an AGM Meeting .

Nominations for Committee Members and Chairman must be received at whitbyra@gmail.com, or otherwise reach the Secretary, by Thursday 3 March 2016. Notices of motion for consideration at the AGM must be received at whitbyra@gmail.com, or otherwise reach the Secretary, by Thursday 10 March 2016.
